Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

Didn't sleep the greatest again. I tell ya, tapering is bringing on lots of energy for me. Met the BBK's at Bingham and warmed up 2.5 through neighborhoods. Back to track and did 1200 with 400 recovery, 800 w/recovery, 400 w/recovery. We got progressively faster on each one. Went back off track through neighborhoods for a 2 mile tempo just faster than marathon pace and .5 cooldown. Overall pace 8:12. Great workout and I felt really great.

Sounds like a fun run! You guys are so awesome, you are going to get such great times at St. George!

You will too Cheris. I can't wait until the day comes and goes to see everyones times. Are you guys thinking of staying with the pace group for 3:30 or just doing your own thing? I don't know. I don't want to go out too slow with the pace group and not be able to really pick it up if I feel good on the second half. What to do, what to do.
