I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

I am so tired and sore from Wednesday and yesterday. I forgot what upping the miles does to the energy levels.

Went to thy gym and did a 60 minute cycle endurance class. My hamstrings hurt the whole time. Went out in the gym and did back/tris/abs and stretched and foam rolled for 15 minutes.

Great workout! Thanks for joining me with some zeros on there!

From Michelle N. on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 14:00:06

If I could figure out how to change my thingy at the top to include cross-training I would record my cross training miles but I don't know how sooo....

From Cheryl on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 16:30:51

Nice picture. That looks like fun!

From Julie on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:06:06

I love your picture. I need to learn how to do that. I hope your legs are feeling better.

From Michelle N. on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:07:39

We will take you guys next summer. It is fun.

From Kelli on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:12:27

What picture am I missing?

From Kelli on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:14:00

KIDDIN!!! When I hit refresh it was there. I can not do that anymore, it kills my knees. I am OLD!

From kungfublonde on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:24:57

I'm refreshing like a maniac and I don't see anything new... let me change browsers maybe...

From kungfublonde on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:27:02

Oh! You are in Kelli's "sexy legs club" apparently!

Man, I'll get there...

From walter on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 18:46:59

Ok now your talking! Its about time you found what turns me on! lol Owww! Ok seriously, let me guess where you are. From the looks its obviously Lake Powell, but where, let me think oh yes, it looks like the canyon that is just eastward up the lake from Bullfrog, its on the tip of my tounge. Ill get back to you.

From Michelle N. on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 19:18:45

Escalante, Walter!

Rachel, thanks for the leg compliment. They aren't like Kelli's though. I am only 5' 2" so they are short and muscly, Kelli has long, lean pretty legs.

From walter on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 19:37:11

I was soo close. Crap, the rock all looks the same there! lol Its a great picture!

From kungfublonde on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 19:40:45

"short and muscley" oh, poor baby :)

I'm long and lumpy- look out, fellas! That's why Mike felt comfortable going to the other side of the world. Nothin' to worry about with this "lone faithful!"

From walter on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 20:07:08

Stop what your doin', Cause Im about to ruin. The image and the style that your used too! lol

Ok that was lame, try this...

Lonely, Im Rachel Lonely, I have somebody, a long ways away!

From Kelli on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 21:05:17

RACHEL---I have seen your beautiful pictures and you are just FULL OF IT!!! AND, yes, Michelle has the most muscular legs ever, mine are just 4 inches longer than hers!

From Kelli on Fri, Nov 21, 2008 at 21:06:54

Oh, and she is wearing a bikini which is not happening here!!!! Michelle works hard, though, so she get all of the credit!!! I eat hard and work enough to cover the eating.

From Michelle N. on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 17:13:27

Oh, thanks for all the compliments, but I didn't post the rear view of my butt! :)

Rachel, I don't mind being short except it makes everthing look bigger and I gain 5 pounds and it looks like 30:( I was blessed with lots of muscle but that isn't always a good thing. I do tend to look a bit squatty at times:)

From Kelli on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 17:19:14

Nice BACK is in Michelle. People get implants! In fact, I need butt implants.

You are beautiful, strong, in shape, gorgeous, all of the above. And cute and funny, too.

From Michelle N. on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 17:22:00

Well, you are so nice. You made me blush so I'll quit:) Butt implants huh? I definately wouldn't need those:)

From Kelli on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 17:28:28

Everyone wants a JLo butt. I have to do like 1 million squats a day to get a butt! I had one for a minute when I had a personal trainer, but I quit that to run and the butt ran away!

From Michelle N. on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 17:32:09

Maybe that's my problem. Squats! Although, I try to go light and high rep so I am toning and not building but who knows. Oh well, I'll just be happy with what I was given I guess.

You have awesome legs and butt. I wouldn't complain about that. My mom has NO butt (we call it frog butt) but you have a cute LITTLE butt:)

Well, I'm off to read Twilight. I couldn't resist after all the hype at the theater last night so I started it this morning. I'm about 1/4 the way through. I want to finish fast so I can take Nicole to see it.

From Kelli on Sat, Nov 22, 2008 at 17:42:16

FUNNY!! I resisted as well, but I read Twilight on Tuesday, finished book two yesterday morning, and I am half way through with book 3. So, I gave in as well. I was pleasantly surprised with Twilight, hated New Moon, and so far like Eclipse. ENJOY it!

From montelepsy on Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 02:20:34

Short and muscly is Rachel's favorite! Hopefully her tastes change to short and doughy, because I can't keep this up much longer.
