Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

I was going to get up and run with the BBK's but my bed was too comfy cozy and I knew I had to teach my class at the church this morning and knew it would wipe me out to do both so I chose to sleep in.

I did go teach my class and it kind of kicked my butt. I felt kind of the same as yesterday, my heart rate kept going high and I felt tired. Like I said yesterday, I don't think I'm as recovered as I thought.

I just got back from the Living Planet Aquarium with the kiddies. Lots of fun.

So, how was that? I have wanted to take my kids since they moved it, but did not want to waste $$. When it was in the Gateway we went, and we were in and out of that place in 20 minutes for $7 a piece. It was a rip off! Is it better now?

I decided the same thing as you, BTW. I felt great last week, but not so much this week. Everything is kicking my fanny and I am so sore and achy!

Maybe next week will be better??

Kelli, the aquarium kind of sucked. I've been to some really cool ones like the one at Atlantis resort in Nassau, Bahamas. Holy cow, that one was sooo cool. We were done in 45 minutes and that was even with lingering. $38.00 for the whole fam. Oh well, something to do on a day off.

That was what I was wondering! I bet your kids liked it anyway, they do not care about $$!

We missed you today. You're smart to let yourself fully recover. I'm not very good at that.
