Ran Boston in April 2009 and had an absolute blast.
Half Marathon PR 1:35.
10k PR-46:20 (Obviously not a great short distance runner:)
Short-Term Running Goals:
I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Under 1:30 half
3:15 marathon
Personal:
Married with children. 17,16,14,11 and 7. 3 boys, 2 girls. I have the best husband in the world!
Met the BBK's at Bingham at 6:00 and ran around neighborhoods. 8:36 pace overall. It was nice to get back outside and run with the group. I felt pretty good. Started to get HOT and a little fatigued at the end.
Kelli-I was wearing my tights and a thicker shirt (Pearl Izumi) and my new anniversay running jacket, gloves and a hat. I took the gloves off the last couple of miles and unzipped my jacket. I tell ya, if you get the right gear, warmth isn't a problem.
Go up to the Pearl Izumi outlet in PC and the can really help you find some good stuff. It does get a little expensive though so be prepared. I think my whole wardrobe today (excluding shoes) was probably $250.00. Ouch, a little gouge on the pocket book but well worth it.
Michelle you were hot looking there at the end no doubt!
