Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

Met BBK's in South Jordan for a run through neighborhoods. I woke up feeling great this morning but I think my faster run yesterday kicked my butt a little because I was REALLY pooped during the run. I wanted to be done at 2 miles but kept going. My legs felt very heavy and I over dressed and was SOOOO hot and sweaty and it didn't help that on the way to meet everyone that I watched my husband get pulled over for running a stop sign and got a ticket. We just barely got accepted back on Bear River Insurance last week. Oh well. Overall pace 8:20.

That is always embarrassing when you get pulled over in front of friends.

Or even worse, your wife, who calls and gets mad at you as you are getting the ticket. That is 3 in 1 1/2 years for him. AAAAHHHHH!

It was great to run with you today. Even though you were so tired you did awesome!

Tired days just make good days feel that much better!

Hey, I was wondering why you had so many layers on. I thought maybe I had missed something in the weather report!! But I think I have the same pink fleece jacket that I just bought for running, so one of these days here we are going to look like dorky twins!!!

Michelle, oh man that is too funny. Sorry about the insurance thing, that is a bummer.

My wife has never had a ticket in her life and I just keep racking them up. Always for speeding.
