I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

Met Julie at the gym at 7:00. Ran first 6 miles at a 8:49 pace. Picked it up to a 8:19 for a mile, then did some intervals. Cooled down for 1/2 mile. I really didn't plan on any speed but the treadmill gets boring and it is nice to mix it up a little. Enjoyed Julie's company as always:)

I'm feeling my motivation coming back. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I've gained 5 pounds and I'm going to Hawaii next month. Nothing like a week in a swimming suit to motivate weight loss:)

Great job today! I cannot believe that you run so many miles on a treadmill. See you Tuesday!

That sounds like sheer torture, for real! Great work on that treadmill, seriously!

Welcome back!

Missed you this morning. You are a tough one to run that distance on a treadmill! Must have been nice to have Julie to run with to pass the time. Looking forward to see you at running group. Have a great, warm weekend. Seriously jealous about Hawaii, bring back some warmth with you okay?
