The past while (probably 4 1/2 years if accurate) I have had feelings and anger build up about a lot of things in my life which in return has made me quite negative about A LOT of things in my life. I decided while out on my SLOW run today that I need to look for the positve and things I am blessed with rather than focusing on the negative crap. I cannot control how other people act, feel, treat me or others, etc. and the only person these feelings effect and hurt,  is me. I used to be so nice and sweet and I need to find a way back to being that person.

So, let me start today...I set my alarm for 7:30 because I didn't have any reason to be up any earlier and guess what, I woke up at 6:30 and felt refreshed and ready to go (although I still layed there until 7:25). Did the same 3 mile Bluffdale Loop that I have done 3 other days this week. It was such a beautiful morning and I was happy to just be out and going. Nothing on my body hurt, which makes me grateful for my health. When I got to the uphill 1.2 miles on the way back, I focused on how light the breeze was this morning and pretended it was flat (which couldn't fool my heart rate:). All in all a fantastic morning and I am so looking forward to a long weekend!

enjoy the weekend Michelle! I think we all have to find that re-group inside of us occasionally. You've got this, just believe.

:) You are right...my dad always told me that if you put your life on cruise control, it won't get any better than what you are currently dealing with and he is right! I sure do miss his wisdom.

You are back!!! Oh, how I miss you! You are one of my favorite people to run with, glad you are getting back at it. Now I will not have to check with Julie for "Michelle Updates!"

Nothing like a good run to clear the head and give perspective. Sometimes it is scary how clear things are while running.

I LOVED how you woke up at 6:30 but stayed in bed for another hour---that is THE BEST! Hope you enjoyed that hour, us mothers do not get that often enough!!!

have a great weekend.
