I have decided I really like to do speed work on the treadmill or on the track. I went to the gym and warmed up for 3 1/2 at a 9:00 pace, then did 1 1/2 at 5k pace (7:15), recovered for 4 1/2 minutes, another 1 1/2 at 7:12, finished up at 8:55 pace. Felt great but really sweaty. I think some of my sweat flew on the guy next to me because he left really quick. After I was done running I did some shoulders/tris/abs. I don't know if the weight lifting I do helps or hurts but I love it and can't give it up. However, I have backed off on leg weights. |
