I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

I really wanted to run outside today but it is so dark that I don't dare run by myself and my brother won't go that early. So, I went to the gym and did shoulders/tris. Followed by 8 easy mile on the treadmill at a 9:05 pace. A friend jumped on the treadmill next to me for the last 4 miles and I chatted with her which made time fly by today. Felt really good.

What time do you get to the gym?

From Kelli on Mon, Sep 15, 2008 at 19:26:56

You are so flippin' amazing on the treadmill! I do not know how you go that long. GOOD GIRL!

Hope all of the chafing issues are cleared up!

Paul-I usually go to the gym at 9:00 after I drop my kiddies off at school. Sometimes I go at 5:30 but it isn't really necessary so I don't. However, when I run outside, I go at 5:30.

Kelli-The chafing is doing great. No problems for now.
