Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

I was a bit worried about how bad my legs would hurt this morning so I prepared! Lathered em up with Aspercream and took some Ibuprofen:) Did the exact same run as last Wednesday. Out 3.7 to the restroom on the JRP and back. My right leg was still a bit tight, but not unbearable. By the turn around point, it had relaxed pretty good and I was able to speed up a little with no more effort. Overall, a nice, easy, enjoyable run. AP 9:15ish

There's that word again, unbearable. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Why is that? Unbearable means too much...so I said it wasn't too tight? Is that not correct? Am I not as super smart as I thought?

LOL! It's correct. You've just been saying it a lot. :)

Oh good, I thought I might have to punch you in the throat! I guess I should've worded it a little differently as well..."the tightness and pain was not unbearable" :)

From Burt on Wed, Jul 10, 2013 at 13:35:06 from 71.216.109.214

Well, you can still punch me in the throat. If you want.

And you are right, I have said "unbearable" a lot lately...must be the word of the week.
