Oh how I love the day of rest. Although I rested Friday (but I felt guilty about it). I slept so good last night and just didn't want to get up this morning so I slept until 8:45. Off to get ready for church and looking forward to this week. My right knee is a little poppy like.

You definately need a break my friend! My leg does that too, you need to drink lots and take some glucosamine/chondrotine supplement. Keep up the good work. You beat me on sleep today, I knew you had it in you! You are so competitive! lol

I might not win a race by foot but I sure could win a sleeping race. That is my biggest issue. I LOVE to sleep.

Thats funny big M, I used to be that way but cant seam to get alot of sleep from the regular routine. I actually have an extremely hard time sleeping, Im bordering sleep problems. I wander the house at night. We rented a house in Moab for the half marathon and I couldnt sleep and the other couples that shared the house with us asked who was wandering around at night. Luckily I took my computer and doodled around on it till I felt sleepy. Its good to see something your better than me at! We can learn from each other!

I work really hard at it. I think it is genetics and a natural gift also. I think my kids inherited the gift also. Great news for me. Actually, when I ran the SL marathon in April I only got 3 hours of sleep and got on line and shopped at 2:00 AM. Now I can talk to the other restless bloggers in the middle of the night before a race. I'm sure I will be up Friday night so if anyone is up for good conversation at 1:00 in the morning, I'm sure I will be available.

If I get a signal on my computer up in Logan I may take you up on the offer. Thats funny.

Late in on that little conversation---but I did not even sleep one minute before the TOU. Nerves were a little part of it, but I call it a good night if I get 3-4 hours straight.

Glad to know I am not alone!

Hope your knee is feeling better and less poppy-like!

Quick question: When you run your long runs, do you stop your Garmin for potty breaks, lights, refueling, etc? A race is so different from a run around the city, I can not decide if I just keep lettingthe time run, or if I should pause it! THANKS! Have a great week.
