Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

Well, I finally got back out running today. I still feel a little crappy. I keep getting bad headaches. Anyway, I ran with my brother today down on the trail. We took it pretty easy because it was cold and icy and neither of us have done much the past couple of weeks. Overall pace 8:59. I actually felt really good during the run but I'm feeling a little nauseated now.

You have a rough time lately. I am so sorry! We missed you today, but great job getting out.

Good to see you back at it Michelle.

Keep at it.

You dont get migraines do you? I hate headaches and it really puts a damper on your running. I ran the Peach Days 10k in Brigham City a couple years ago with a migraine and was throwing up and it was not fun. Keep up those miles!

Thanks Jody, Cal and Paul.

Walter-I get migraines every once in a while but these headaches I've been getting are different. I feel kind of weird. I'm noticing it after I eat and it is making me wonder if I could have something up with my glucose. I had gestational diabetes with my last baby. I hope it isn't something like that. I think I need to call my doctor though and get checked out.

That sounds aweful, I would definitely get that checked out. Good luck to you.
