Ran Boston in April 2009 and had an absolute blast.

Half Marathon PR 1:35.

10k PR-46:20 (Obviously not a great short distance runner:)

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

Well, I was supposed to go run with Julie and Angela this morning @ 5:30 but I couldn't sleep (I had a bit of an upset stomach) so I texted Julie and told her I wasn't coming. I'm supposed to go over and teach Total Cond. at the church @ 9:00 but I don't think I'm gonna do that either. Hopefully I feel better throughout the day and can sneak a few miles in somewhere. I'll report back if I do.

Ya know Kelli, I think this blog is even better for me on the days I take off. I am so hard on myself and need to allow myself to not feel well sometimes. I keep go, go, going until I crash and burn and I need to listen to my body before that happens. So, thanks for the comment.
