OMG! I didn't realize how tight the outside of my shins were. I "tried" to run this morning, but did not succeed. I made it to almost a mile (with several stops to try and relax or stretch my shins), but figured it was not happening. I turned around and got another 1/4 mile in and just could not, nor did I want to do any more. Soooo, I walked back to work and did a few laps of walking around the parking lot. I probably walked around 1 1/2 miles total.
I went into the gym and did a few pushups and sit ups and called it quits!
Later at home I got out my rolling pin and some Aspercream and rolled away. OUCH! Seriously, those muscles are so tight and there are spots that are just downright painful! |
