10k PR-46:20 (Obviously not a great short distance runner:)
Short-Term Running Goals: I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride. Long-Term Running Goals: Under 1:30 half

Thought I would start back up blogging since it is a new year and all. 3.75 miles on the treadmill. Did 54 pushups and a bunch of crunches and some good stretching. Yes...I am OUT OF SHAPE but, I have great intentions. Oh...I am doing the biggest loser with 5 friends. I definitely have some weight to lose.

Ugh...3 1/2 outside today. First 2 felt great (downhill with the wind) but when I started heading back up in the wind...it was soooo bitter cold. But, it's done. Maybe some pushups and abs later if I have some time.

It was such a nice day to run. 46 degrees and just a slight breeze. I didn't plan on running quite so far since I am just getting back at it but it felt nice. I stopped and walked up the hill back towards my house for about 1/4 mile, otherwise it would've been closer to 6. No watch...just my IPOD.

| Ran 3 miles to the JRP Trail and the hubby met me down there and we ran out 2 and back. I was definitely done after the 7 and don't think I could've done much more. Probably a few too many miles this week but I am just going with how I feel. |
