10k PR-46:20 (Obviously not a great short distance runner:)
Short-Term Running Goals: I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride. Long-Term Running Goals: Under 1:30 half

| Ran with the BBK's and my bro came this time:) Did the Riverton 1/2 route but cut a little off at one point. Julie and CJ went out an extra 1/2 to make it 13 but my foot hurt a little so I bagged it when we hit the car at 12. I felt okay considering my 500% increase in miles this week:) Thanks Julie for being slow with me. AP 9:30 which included walking for about a minute 2 separate times. |

Okay, planned on just completing this run for the runners series but still wanted to be under 9's. Started the run with Kris Bullock. She is the best!!! I would've loved to run the whole time with her but I felt like I was pushing her pace a little too much and I wanted to go a little faster. I wore my dayglow Boston shirt so I stood out like a sore thumb:) I left Kris around mile 4 or 5 and soon caught up to Kelli. I gave her a nice slap on the butt and chatted for a minute then took off. Caught up to Smooth at the turn off the the trail around the golf course. I really felt great but didn't push the pace too much. We all know I haven't been training at all and I didn't want to hurt myself. I was very comfortable until the last mile and I started getting tired but it was actually my fastest mile. I had plenty of juice left at the end to sprint to the finish. I was not passed by a single person after about mile 5 but passed A TON of people. I like it that way cuz I know I ran smart. Anywho, now maybe my motivation will come back. I had fun and love races and hate to run them when I am not trained. So....I hope to get my excitement back. Congrats to all the bloggers who ran so great.

Planned on running with the BBK's this morning but between my HORRIBLE snoring husband and my very sore legs (from weights yesterday), I chose to not do it. I am planning on playing basketball tonight if the legs will allow. So, I will report later. Well, I played basketball. Never know what kind of mileage to log for it so lets just say it was an 1 hour of good cardio:) Now, for those of you that have never played church ball, HOLY COW women are crazy. I got tackled, elbowed, tripped and a girl on my team had a gash on her eye. Good times!

| Some of the BBK's came out to Bluffdale to run the 5k/10k route. It was colder than I thought it would be and I am still SOOOO sore from Wednesday's weights. Anyway, ended up with 9.25 miles and ran at 9:15 AP. Phewww, I'm beat. |
