10k PR-46:20 (Obviously not a great short distance runner:)
Short-Term Running Goals: I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride. Long-Term Running Goals: Under 1:30 half

| Nothing about today was easy. Started with sore calves and not nearly enough water over the weekend. Met Mignon and Cheris and intended on 12 (missed my longer run on Saturday so this was my longer one). Got to 9 and was DONE...made it to my moms house and drove her car to Mignons. I had NO gas left (in my body that is). I look forward to the day that running a slow paced 12 feels somewhat easy again:/ |

| Was planning on running with the group but Mignon called me last night and said she needed to be home early so we chose to just run in Bluffdale again and sleep a little longer. It was a pleasant run and it felt MUCH better than the past couple of days. |

| Planned on 12 or so today but my 12 year old was in a car accident last night with his friends family and I couldn't pull myself out of bed to run before it was time to head to my brother's cabin at 10 so, I ran when I got there but didn't want to spend all day running. Felt good though:) Oh, and my son is okay...just extremely sore. |

| Still at the cabin...6 awesome miles. I felt so good, kind of reminded me of how I used to feel when I would run. Twisted my left ankle about 4 miles in though and it hurt pretty bad but...I plugged along and finished. No running tomorrow cuz we have to get up and head home early so I can get to work:( Back at it on Tuesday. |
