Short-Term Running Goals: I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride. Long-Term Running Goals: Under 1:30 half

| Riverton 1/2 marathon route with Julie and Lisa Dudley. Felt pretty good other than the darn Cafe Rio:) AP 9:01. I can see some gradual improvement in my speed and the way I feel. Crazy how fast you lose fitness and how long it takes to get it back. |

| Met the BBK's this morning at Tithing Hill with my hubby. I knew it would be torture. 6+ miles were comfortable but we did hill repeats up Tithing hillx8 and I almost puked after the 3rd one. I took them a little slower after that. AP was pretty darn slow 9:30. It felt good to be out running that early and now I'm thrilled it is done and I don't have to think about it. It was great to talk to Julie, Kelli, Cheryl, Jody, Lisa, Lynette, Eric...I made the rounds today and gabbed away:) |

| Ran the Riverton 1/2 route. Actually, the new Riverton 1/2 route. It is a little tougher than last year cuz you don't have the downhill after the first mother hill and the S curve is later in the race. Ran the old course 5 weeks ago at a 9:45 AP, last week at a 9:01, and today.....8:56!!! Yes, I am once again getting faster and more confident. Still a long way to go but feeling MUCH better about things. Anywho, enjoyed the company of so many today! Including my hubby, my brother, Julie's hubby, Kris, Eric, Julie, and Kelli. Thanks all for a great run. |

| Did not sleep a whole lot last night do to a coughing husband but was able to jump right up and met the BBK's for the early miles. We had 2 options today. Either speed or no speed. I opted for the no speed cuz I'm still trying to just get comfortable again. Anywho, we warmed up for 4 1/2 miles and then picked up the pace just a little and then did some 15 second pick-ups just to remind the legs what some speed feels like. Felt AWESOME today! YAY! AP 9:09. Enjoyed running with Jerry, Kelli, Lisa, and Cheryl. |

| Met the BBK's this morning. We met at Julie's house. Ran a 4.15 mile warm up AP 9:22 followed by 3 miles of fast (although my fast is still pretty slow) 8:32, 8:36, 8:35 and 1 more cool down mile 9:09. AP for the last 4.16 was 8:41. Gradually getting faster and feeling better. I definitely felt tired towards the end but all in all, felt good. |

Picked up CJ and met Julie, Cheris and Jody and ran a 6 mile loop in Riverton. The plan was to GU and water back at Cheris's house and do another 7 miles. CJ's Iron Man training had him do 60 bike miles last night, he has to swim 2 miles today and run 20 tomorrow so he didn't want to do the whole 7 so he and I just did an additional 2 1/2. I started working yesterday and have had training all day and have to be there at 9:00 to train again so I wasn't to sad about cutting things a little short. Besides, I don't want to build up to many miles to soon. This week was a good increase I think.AP 9:15 and it felt way nice and easy.
