Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

I was in van #2 running leg 10. This first leg was an easy 3.6 miles but I didn't want to go all out because I was stressed about Ragnar. We met in Liberty for the first van exchange at 6:00. I saw lots of bloggers and other people. I even saw my 7th grade boyfriend:) Anyway, van 2 was a little slower this year. Nothing too exciting about this leg. 7:59 overall pace. I started faster (DUH) and slowed down the last 1.6.  When will I learn to start a little slower and then speed up?

Great job on that leg, I did the same thing! Way too fast to start!

Thanks Kelli! You were way faster than me though. I did around 7:25 for my first and 7:40 on my 2nd so that tells you how much I slowed down. Oh well, good times:)

it's easy to start out too fast, but regardless you were awesome all weekend! (the tops in Van#2 by my estimation...)

i'm happy that Jared had a good time. do you think he'd be interested in ever doing it again? (he did really great on all his legs...)

Why thanks Cal. Jared would probably love to do it again. I would kind of like to put together another team though and have mixed vans. Are you thinking you want to keep running with Kevin?

not sure. (tradition and loyalty say that i should...)

but i wouldn't mind changing things up some.
