I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

HOLY COW, I am tired! Jared and I took my mom and dad to the Jazz game last night and didn't get home until 12:40 and by the time we got in bed, it was 1:00 and then had to get up at 5:00 to teach my class. I am BEAT.

My class had more ladies in it today and took more time to talk them through some stuff so we were shy on 1 section of legs. I tried to back off as much as possible on legs so I wouldn't be dead for my 18 miler tomorrow. I actually had a fun time teaching today. The ladies were involved and trying their hardest. Total Body.

Wow! Look at your miles already this week! What are you training for?

From Michelle N. on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 10:24:44

Boston. I'm not loving the winter training. I don't know if I'll do another early spring marathon.

From jtshad on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 10:49:25

Cool, another FRB'er doing Boston...we will actually have a pretty good group of folks back there! Have fun with the 18 miler this weekend.

From Burt on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 10:57:02

Guess what? I watched the game in the comfort of my bed. In fact, I fell asleep watching it. I'm not tired at all.

Ladies' class -- the men are so dumb, not knowing what they are missing.

From Cal on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 13:41:24

That game was worth the exhaustion though, wasn't it?

From Michelle N. on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 13:53:08

Jeff-We should have another blog party. Maybe we could put Walter in charge:)

Burt and Cal-That game was SOOOO worth the exhaustion! Holy cow! There were a lot of Celtic fans so it made for lots of fun. I just can't believe the Jazz pulled it off.

Paul-The reason not many men come to these classes is because most men have the coordination of my hubby. One movement we do is a bicep curl and lunge at the same time and he literally can't do it. You have special powers to be able to do all the classes. Hopefully someday I can have some men join us. Also, they don't like to admit that a woman can kick their booty!

Sorry I missed it again! I did get up, but then a sick kid found me before I made it out the door. Dang it. So, how many came?

From Michelle N. on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 16:00:43

There were 5 today and both ladies from Monday came back so that is a good sign. Hopefully more and more will keep coming as the word travels. I hope you're cute little critter feels better. I hate croup.

From Rachel on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 18:18:24

Wasn't that game great? My friend invited me to go with her and I had an awesome time! I'm actually a little hoarse this morning. I can't believe you got up to teach this morning! I used the late night to rationalize NOT getting up and going to class. I guess when you teach it, you can't just not show up. Go to bed early tonight, you've got an early morning tomorrow too. Or, you can join us for a later run...mmmmmm, sleep!

From Kelli on Fri, Feb 20, 2009 at 18:20:58

Only 5? WOW, they start this big petition to get classes and then they all no show!

I do not think that I will make it Monday, but I should try!!! We will be out of town for Wed and Fri and the next Mon. BUT, I do want to make the Friday class my routine becasue I never work out on Fridays anymore becasue of school volunteer stuff!! I WILL get there, promise!
