Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

I was too tired as well. Maybe we should start our own running group that runs later. I am not sure if i am ever going to be able to get up that early again (well, the heat will get me up, but I hate it!!!)

Have a good day! Timpanogos is a toughie, we used to take our 6th graders every year and i dreaded it. But the weather was nice, right?

Maybe they'll change the time for summer. 5:30 for early, 6:00 for the regular. It is amazing what 15 minutes can do:) I'm going on Thursday though, I am, I am, I am!!!

We all have days like that.

Hills Thursday morning or sleep?!? I will have to think about that one!

From RAD on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 15:03:01 from 67.166.99.8

Michelle, its amazing how much changing activities just a little can affect you SO much. I think I'm in descent shape until I try something new! The hills will be waiting for you and Kelli on Thursday :)

In my heart I can't believe that you are a wimp.

I'm all for starting a little later when school is out. Hope the rest of the group will go along with it, they are pretty die hard early risers. Not me, though!

From Kelli on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 16:48:53 from 71.219.85.34

What time did we start last summer?? Same time?

Ya know, it is only for a bit, and then it will be so HOT we will want to start at 4 am!

From Michelle N. on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 16:55:01 from 75.162.247.50

We started at 5:30 for the early miles and 6:00 for the later. We should talk about it on Thursday and move it as soon as the critters get out. Junior High gets out next Friday but the others don't get out until later. I am fine either way but I sure do like an extra 15 minutes.

Burt-Thanks for thinking I'm not a wimp:)

From Kelli on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 16:56:22 from 71.219.85.34

Heck, let's push for 6 and 6:30!!! Wait, I guess some people have jobs....

From Michelle N. on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 16:59:40 from 75.162.247.50

Who cares:) The longer I sleep, the nicer I am!

From Michelle N. on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 17:02:42 from 75.162.247.50

Hey Kelli, would you mention the Bluffdale race on your blog since everyone and their dog reads yours:) bluffdale.com is the website to check it out. Thanks.

From Kelli on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 17:08:16 from 71.219.85.34

You are funny!!! If this group was not so great, I would say we should start our own that meets at about 10 am!

I will put that on my blog tomorrow!! I am off the computer for the day and so I will not post to anyone else. BUT I get the most "looks" when I post to everyone and their dog, so I will do that tomorrow while I eat my lunch! A lot of them are not in Utah, though!

Do you know what you need me to do to help out yet? Scott is now running the Utah Valley Marathon so I will have to drive him to Provo at the crack of dawn. This means I will be up bright and early to help you with whatever you need. I just want to make sure that I get to the finish line for him by 9 or so (if early enough, I may run back and look for him, but I am not sure I could keep up unless he is crashing again and we do not want that!!!) So, i am your early morning helper for sure!

From Michelle N. on Tue, May 26, 2009 at 20:32:57 from 75.162.247.50

Kelli, don't worry about helping. It sounds like you have your hands full that morning and I should have plenty of help. If I need anymore people, I can get the scouts, YM and YW from my ward. Not a big deal.

Go support your hubby and help him get that BQ dangit:) But that would be great if you'd help me spread the word. The city hasn't done a very good job at advertising.

You caught me online again (trying to find a political map of Garfield County----I hate 4th grade!)

I REALLY can help, it will not be a problem. If you do not need me, okay, but if you can use me in the morning I can easily be there!!

From Michelle N. on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 13:38:37 from 75.162.227.98

I think most of the help I need will be doing registration stuff and handing out #'s and t-shirts so you should be able to head out by the time the race starts if you need to. I'll let you know exactly what I need. Thanks again:)

From Kelli on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 13:46:08 from 71.219.85.34

Hey, I was thinking today---you should post a flyer at the gym. I know they have had flyers for races, plays, etc before so I bet they would let you!

From Michelle N. on Wed, May 27, 2009 at 13:52:16 from 75.162.227.98

Oh yes! Good thinking! I'll put one up on Friday.
