Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

3:15 marathon

Met the BBK's this morning. It was actually a pretty nice morning. We warmed up for 2.97 miles before the rest of the group got there and then did another 1.33 warm up. Average pace for warm up miles was 9:07 (kind of slow but I REALLY needed that today). We then did 2x2mile tempos and cooled down for about 3/4 mile. Pace for this part of the workout was 8:17. The temperature was so nice that I shed my coat and gloves after the warm up but I didn't feel the greatest today. I was really tired and my tummy was a little upset.

Nice miles Michelle!

Sorry about the tummy.

Get some rest with your puppy!! :)

(My very first dog when I was little was a boxer named Thor ... the only dog I ever loved other than my Miss Sugar)

We had another Boxer and we LOVED him. They are so smart. This new little one is doing pretty good. She slept all night last night so I'm hoping this past week was her just easing into our family. Take care of yourself!

Michelle - I was trying to keep up with all you speedy people, I did for some of the 1st, but couldn't quite do it the 2nd. You all amaze me at how strong and fast you are!! Great run this morning, its always fun with the group, even though the workout may be grueling.

Dang tummy, all of these early mornings are gonna seem routine soon enough! Great to chat with you today, and I agree about the warm-up pace, why can't we always do that??
