Went to the gym. Jumped on treadmill for 4 miles at 9:13 pace (really needed a nice slow recovery run) then did back/biceps/abs and some good stretching then jumped back on the treadmill with the plan of running 4 more. Got to the 2 mile point and decided to up my pace to 8:49 (bad idea) within 1/2-3/4 mile my hammy really started to ache so I finished at 3 miles and cooled down for 1/4. I felt like it was better to listen to my body then to get the extra 3/4 mile in. I really felt great though other than the hammy. |
