Short-Term Running Goals:

I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride.

Under 1:30 half

3:15 marathon

Well, my modem kicked the bucket today so I entered my mileage from my phone but I couldn't get anything else entered. I feel like such a computer geek. I bought a new modem and got it all installed. Oh, the feeling of success with computer problems is great!

Anyway, I met the BBK's this morning and we ran a pretty easy pace out 9800 So. to 4800 W. and back to 2200 W. Overall pace was 8:53. Not my best time and effort.

Well done.

if they were all 'easy' miles did you not go to group? Or just take it easy at group? Either way getting 8 in midweek with all the rest of your miles is AWESOME! I'm assuming you're running the Riverton 10K as well this weekend. If I don't run I think I want to come watch all you speedies finish!!

The entire group took it easy today. It felt plenty hard to me. AND I think it is okay to have days like this. At least you had good company!!!

Did you go buy a b-day present???

I miss a day they take it easy! DANG!! Now I'm mad I missed it :( I'll never get another opportunity like that again.

an overall pace of 8:53 for 8 miles easy isn't bad at all!!! I know you're used to a harder effort, but I sure think that's an impressive easy pace!!
