Ran Boston in April 2009 and had an absolute blast.
Half Marathon PR 1:35.
10k PR-46:20 (Obviously not a great short distance runner:)
Short-Term Running Goals: I've gotten the running bug back and hope I can continue to enjoy it. I think for now, my short-term goal is to NOT burn myself out. I am pro at doing that. I have a half and full marathon that I am planning on racing in a few months. I hope to be trained well enough to PR in both, but if not...I will enjoy the ride. Long-Term Running Goals: Under 1:30 half
3:15 marathon
Personal: Married with children. 17,16,14,11 and 7. 3 boys, 2 girls. I have the best husband in the world! |

| Woke up to crazy wind this morning so I decided to go down to the trail since it is a little more protected. I ran easy and it felt great. The way out was great but heading back into the wind kind of stunk. AP 9:08. Mostly flat so it makes it hard to run much slower than that. Oh, my leg was a little ouchy in the spot that was bugging me before. Not terrible but I could feel it. |

| Met the BBK's this morning for the Parkway Palisades Hill Run. This was the first BIG workout. We did about 4 miles of warm up REALLY slow (but it felt GREAT) probably about 9:30-9:40 AP. We started the speed by doing 4 strides to get the blood flowing:) Followed by 2 of the 1 mile long hill repeats @ 1/2 marathon pace. Then we did a 2 mile tempo and 2 more sprints for about 200 yards each and last, a mile of cool down. AP for the actual work out was around 8:05-8:10. I forgot to turn off my garmin last night so it was deader than a door nail this morning so I am going off of Julie's watch. I felt GREAT today! Thanks Kelli, Julie and Nancy for keeping me company:) Oh, and my hubby joined us after the warm up. I didn't expect him and he ran past me and slapped my butt. I thought someone in the group was getting really friendly. |

| I was SO tired last night. I took my kids to the new waterpark in Draper and they don't allow outside food or drink and so I think I ended up dehydrated along with beat and tired. Anyway, woke up to wind again this morning so I headed down to the trail. Same run as Monday but a little slower. AP 9:23. I felt a bit tired the last 2 miles. It was kind of windy and hot but I think I was just beat from yesterday. |

| Ughhh!!! I felt like crap today. Met the BBK's today and grateful that I had a group to push me because I probably would've quit early had I not. We did a 3.85 mile warm-up @ 9:42 AP. I had to climb 2 fences to get back to the meeting place:) Cheris and me ran through Bingham High looking for an open bathroom and then had to catch up with the group. I ran my first couple miles of the speed part at a decent pace but started to slow significantly. My AP was 8:45 for the next 6.2 miles. I had decided not to watch my pace on my garmin today and usually when I do this, I run faster but I just had 0 energy today. I could tell I was running slow but I was giving it more effort than the pace. Oh well, there's always tomorrow!

| The fam went boating last night and I was pooped but got up at 6:30 anyway. Ran the canal road with my brother. Nice, easy, relaxing run, with great conversation. AP 9:22 |

| What a fun run! Julie came to my house and we headed down to Provo. It started at 6:30 and the temps were perfect. We started at the trail heading up Provo Canyon. We had just under 6 miles of consistent uphill then turned around and headed back down. I lost my signal a couple of times on my garmin so I'm not going to put my mile splits on here. Kelli and sis-in-law turned at the wrong spot and Rachel and me followed so we were about .1 short at the end but no biggie. AP was 8:10. I felt surprisingly good for how crappy I felt this week. Thanks Michelle, Josse, Marion and anyone else that helped. SOOO much fun! |
